LIL B’s NBA TV COMMERCIAL
The Based God’s curse thrust Lil B back into the national spotlight. This commercial is evidence of how real things got surrounding the curse. The Kevin Durant curse era was a special time. It gave Based World the classic ‘Fuck KD’ single, the ‘Hoop Life’ mixtape and numerous TV appearances. This commercial is one of those appearances. The Based God’s curse took Lil B to places he could’ve never imagined.

Another ‘KD Curse era’ appearance. Lil B blessed one of ESPN’s flagship shows with his presence. The condescending nature of hosts, Max Kellerman and Marcellus Wiley does spoil this moment somewhat. Lil B fights through the attack on his character by keeping things positive. He even drops a piece of Based artwork for his fans. When you factor in: Lil B’s fit, the fact that the Based God’s wave had made it to ESPN and Molly Qerim before First Take infamy you are presented with a historic moment in Based World. Lil B on ESPN, who woulda thought?

LIL B ON FIRST TAKE
Fast forward to the 2017 Finals, Lil B had now redacted the curse from KD and the Warriors dynasty was in the middle of bullying the NBA. Lil B goes in full Stephen A Smith mode, rocking a very Based suit. On this appearance he raises the curse from James Harden, who was another high profile victim of the Based God’s curse for stealing his cooking dance. At 5 minutes we see a rare message given to Lil B from the Based God. Another appearance which will go down in Based history.

LIL B TRIES OUT FOR THE NBA
Lil B’s hoop dreams date back to 2012. This excerpt from a local news station, shows us the Based God trying out for the Santa Cruz Warriors, the G-League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors. Lil B must have shown that he was too good for the G-League (FKA the D-League) because the world knows that Lil B would have been dropping buckets at the try-out.

The Based God makes yet another sports related appearance. This time on the NFL Network, on the show NFL Now ‘Gameday Blitz’. An in-depth 26 minute appearance, this is nothing short of legendary. B really trolled the whole sports world with this movement. The Based God was operating on a whole different plane during this era.

The audio on these videos are terrible. But at least you get to witness two swag gods connecting to make history. A Diddy co-sign is evidence that Lil B’s string of viral hits had him kicking it with Rap’s elite. The Based God was really out there. Especially during 2011/2012.
